Kids Costume Contest
Sunday, October 11, 2026 • 2:00 PM
- Sign up at the entry table on Saturday or before 1:00 PM Sunday.
- No online sign-ups or pre-judging.
- A valid Sunday admission ticket is required to participate.
- Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
- Contestants must be at the contest area in costume and ready 30 minutes before the contest.
- Store-bought costumes are welcome.
- Costumes and presentations must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
- One person may assist a contestant if needed.
- No projectiles, sprays, fire, smoke, fireworks, liquids or anything that could create a mess or safety hazard.
- All costumes and props must follow the Northshore Horror & Anime Fest Costume & Weapon Policy.
- No live animals except service animals.
- Contestants are responsible for any damage they cause to the facility or equipment.
- Event staff, volunteers, celebrity guests and cosplay guests may not compete.
- Northshore Horror & Anime Fest reserves the right to refuse or remove any contestant who does not follow these rules.
Adult Cosplay Contest

- Sign up at the entry table on Saturday or before 1:00 PM Sunday.
- No online sign-ups or pre-judging.
- A valid Sunday admission ticket is required to participate.
- Contestants must enter as individuals.
- Professional costumers or performers may not compete.
- Awards will be given for Best in Show, Best Master, Best Intermediate and Best Novice.
- Contestants must be at the contest area in cosplay and ready 30 minutes before the contest.
- At least 50% of your costume must be made or modified by you.
- Fully store-bought or commissioned costumes are not eligible.
- Costumes and presentations must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
- One person may assist a contestant if needed.
